Meet the Therapist:

Rachel M. Menge, MSW, LCSW, PMH-C

I’m Rachel, the owner of Mind Made Well Counseling PLLC, and I am grateful you’re here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who loves helping adolescents, adults, and new parents successfully navigate life’s ups and downs. I feel honored that you’re considering letting me help you (or your loved one) on your personal journey. I truly believe change is possible, that you can feel better, and that you can achieve your goals. I will work as hard as I can to help you achieve that, in whatever that means to you.

I know reaching out for help can be difficult when you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, other distressing emotions, or a difficult life transition. I have tools that can help, and I want to partner with you on your journey to wellness. Whether you attend a single session, a group series, or ongoing individual therapy, my approach is simple: We are a team, working together, with goal of helping you feel better.

Services Offered

Focused Individual Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-informed, Exposure Response Prevention, and mindfulness-based counseling interventions to help you reach your therapeutic goals. Typically on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Support for New Parents In Pregnancy and Beyond

Emotional and therapeutic support for persons undergoing one of life’s most wonderful and difficult transitions - parenthood. I am fully trained and certified by Postpartum International as a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C) to help new parents navigate pregnancy and the postpartum period (first year after baby’s birth). This includes conditions such as Postpartum Depression, Anxiety, and OCD (Otherwise known as PMADS - Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders). Parents are also welcome to bring their infant to sessions with them, or opt for virtual services.

Supportive Individual Therapy

Supportive therapy creates a space for an individual to process the ups and downs of life with a caring professional who is truly there just to listen. Supportive therapy typically occurs less frequently than focused therapy (biweekly or monthly) and tends to be less structured, allowing you to spend your time as you wish. This type of therapy is sometimes not reimbursable to insurance.
